Adele Finally Announces Her 3rd Studio Album, '25'

We have all been waiting for Adele to drop the follow-up to her timeless album, 21. It's been four years since we've heard any new music from Adele, besides the theme song for Skyfall. Well, that's all about to change. Adele announced today that her third studio album, 25, will be released on November 20th of this year. She has revealed the tracklist and announced that the first single, "Hello," will be released via music video on tomorrow. Check out the tracklist and what Adele had to say about 25 below.

01 Hello
02 Send My Love (To Your New Lover)
03 I Miss You
04 When We Were Young
05 Remedy
06 Water Under The Bridge
07 River Lea
08 Love In The Dark
09 Million Years Ago
10 All I Ask
11 Sweetest Devotion

When I was 7 I wanted to be 8. When I was 8 I wanted to be 12. When I turned 12 I just wanted to be 18. Then after that I stopped wanting to be older. Now I’m ticking 16-24 boxes just to see if I can blag it! I feel like I’ve spent my whole life so far wishing it away. Always wishing I was older, wishing I was somewhere else, wishing I could remember and wishing I could forget too. Wishing I hadn’t ruined so many good things because I was scared or bored. Wishing I wasn’t so matter of fact all the time. Wishing I’d gotten to know my great grandmother more, and wishing I didn’t know myself so well, because it means I always know what’s going to happen in the end. Wishing I hadn’t cut my hair off, wishing I was 5’7”. Wishing I’d waited and wishing I’d hurried up as well.
My last record was a break up record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record. I’m making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did. But I haven’t got time to hold on to the crumbs of my past like I used to. What’s done is done. Turning 25 was a turning point for me, slap bang in the middle of my 20s. Teetering on the edge of being an old adolescent and a fully fledged adult, I made the decision to go into becoming who I’m going to be forever without a removal van full of my old junk. I miss everything about my past, the good and the bad, but only because it won’t come back. When I was in it I wanted out! So typical. I’m on about being a teenager, sitting around and chatting shit, not caring about the future because it didn’t matter then like it does now. The ability to be flippant about everything and there be no consequences. Even following and breaking rules ... is better than making the rules. 25 is about getting to know who I’ve become without realising. And I’m sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened.
Love, Adele

Mac Miller Announces Album Title & Release Date

Mac Miller has been very silent, musically, over the past year or so and that is because he's been working on his third studio album. He has revealed that the album will be called GO:OD AM and will be released on September 18th. His last album, Watching Movies With The Sound Off, was very impressive so I'm excited to see what some privacy and seclusion can bring out of Mac. Stay tuned.

The Weeknd Announces Album Title & Release Date

The Weeknd has been releasing hit after hit since his last album with the releases of "Often," "Can't Feel My Face," and "The Hills." Well, he has now revealed the name and release date of the album that will house those songs. The album will be called Beauty Behind The Madness and will be released on August 28th. I thought his last album, Kiss Land, was very good and I'm interested to see if he can keep up this momentum. Preorder his new album here.

Kendrick Lamar Announces Album Release Date

Kendrick Lamar just dropped a bomb. He has announced that his sophomore major-release album will be released on March 23rd. Some interesting information: the album remains [Untitled] and the album cover is just black, similar to Lupe Fiasco's Food and Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1I'm interested to see if this changes when the album releases or if Kendrick is just opting to be mysterious. You can pre-order the album here. Enjoy.

New Drake Music & Album Release Date

I would absolutely like some music. Sometimes it just pays to be up this late. Drake has treated us to four new songs tonight: “Jodeci Freestyle” (feat. J. Cole) and “The Motion” are his tracks, while “Over Here” and “Versace” are songs featuring Drake by artists PARTYNEXTDOOR and Migos, respectively. The first three songs sound DOPE. Idk if I can endorse the “Versace” track though lol. Not only did Drake release these four songs just now, but he also announced the release date for his album, Nothing Was The Same. September 17th. It’s gonna be a good day. Enjoy the music.

It looks like Jay-Z is going to win the award for album marketing this year. Jay-Z has announced his 12th solo album. It is called Magna Carta Holy Grail and I expect it to be monstrous. It will be released on July 4th, but the lucky people with a Samsung Galaxy S III, S4, or Galaxy Note phone will have the opportunity to download the album for free. On June 24th, a Magna Carta app will become available. The first 1 million people to download the app will receive the album for free “72 hours before the on sale release.” So, technically his album will go platinum in the first day lol. I’m not sure how that works because it was 1 million free copies, but we’ll see. The video above shows him working with Rick Rubin, Timbaland, Pharrell, and Swizz Beatz, so I think it’s fair to say the album’s production will be superb. Stay tuned for more and visit this link for more info. Enjoy.

Wale is making moves. In the early parts of this video, he drops off a trailer for his upcoming album. I don’t know what happened to Album About Nothing, but his third studio album is now called The Gifted and is slated to drop on June 25th. In the rest of the video, he drops off the visuals for the first single to the album, “Bad” featuring Tiara Thomas. It’s a decent video that features Eddie Murphy’s daughter, Bria Murphy. Enjoy.

Chance The Rapper delivered and released a new track and video from his upcoming project, Acid Rap. He chooses a different approach for these visuals as the entire video is animated. The track is called “Good Ass Intro” and it can be assumed that it will be the starter track to his new mixtape. Chance doesn’t miss a beat with this song as it just whets our appetite for his mixtape which now receives a release date: April 30th. Animation for the video is done by O.J. Hays. Enjoy.
