Usher and Nas are taking a stand against the cases of police injustice our country has been facing. They have released a new song and video with Bibi Bourelly called "Chains." The song speaks out against the killings of unarmed black people by the police. The interesting thing about this release is how you can watch the video. Partnered with TIDAL, if you watch using Google Chrome or Firefox, the browser accesses your camera and if you look away from the screen, the video stops. This is to force the viewer to look into the faces of the unarmed victims on the screen. It's a powerful message and I recommend everyone head to the link below to watch the video.
Also, you can watch it on other browsers, but I don't think the camera is accessed with that option.
TIDAL is still kicking and they just turned it up a notch with this announcement. The TIDAL X: 10/20 concert has been announced and will feature Beyoncé, Jay Z, Prince, Usher, Nicki Minaj, and many more. You do not want to miss this show; the lineup is incredible. Hurry and get tickets before they sell out.
Wale released one of the best albums of his career a few months ago. The Album About Nothing was everything I expected it to be. Wale has now delivered the music video for one of the lead singles from the project, "The Matrimony." The video's theme was rightly synonymous with that of the song, but there is a twist. Usher also makes an appearance in the video to perform his portion of the song. Check it out and enjoy.
My girlfriend and I played the common game of "Bad, Average, or Good?" when attempting to determine the merit of this song before we heard it. We both settled on 'Average' and then listened to this duet between Usher and Chris Brown. We both decided that the song was pretty good and above our expectations. It's vocally what I expect to hear from Usher, at this point an elder statesman in the R&B genre. And Chris Brown held his own against Usher as well; I would definitely be interested in hearing a collaboration album with these two. But for now, I'll become a little more interested in an upcoming album from Usher. Enjoy.
Usher has released the music video for his latest single, "She Came to Give It to You." Nicki Minaj is present in the video to perform her sportive verse and there is also a cameo from Pharrell. Usher is more than experienced at making groovy, upbeat dance visuals so the video is exactly what you expect. His eighth studio album, UR, has been indefinitely delayed so we'll see if we get more from him soon. Enjoy.
Chris Brown is back on track and will soon be releasing his X project. He has revealed the music video for his newest single, “New Flame.” Usher and Rick Ross both appear in the video to perform their respective parts. It’s a really cool video and it’s great to see Usher and Chris getting their groove on as they’re two of the best dancing singers of our generation. Honestly, the video and the song would have been much better sans Rick Ross. Enjoy.
Usher has delivered another new track from his upcoming studio album. it’s called “She Came To Give It To You” and it features a verse from Nicki Minaj. The Pharrell-produced track is very upbeat and reminiscent of the Usher we know and love. His album seems to have a familiar sound to it from what we’ve heard so far, so I hope it delivers. Enjoy.
So Usher is preparing another studio album and his revealed a new single from the album called “Good Kisser.” I’ve gotta say this sounds more like the style he embraced on Confessions than anything he’s made since then. It’s pretty good and the video is even better. Check it out above. I’m hoping this means the return of that Usher sound I grew up listening to. Enjoy.
Pharrell is part of a YouTube Channel, Reserve, where he has a segment called “ARTST TLK.” In this segment, he sits down with Usher. It is a very interesting and inspiring video. Enjoy.
Here’s a throwback for you, Tumblr, because you deserve it. “U Don’t Have To Call” by Usher. Enjoy.
Many artists have been putting their own flavor on Rocko’s hit, “U.O.E.N.O.” This time, Usher adds a verse and I actually kinda like it. This is a remix of the version with 2 Chainz and Future so their verses remain. Enjoy.
Man, this video just made me feel bad for Usher. i didn’t even know he got booed off the stage at his concert in Berlin a year ago. Well, here’s his video for “Numb” off of Looking 4 Myself. I know he’s been going through some personal stuff lately, so shout out to Usher. Enjoy.
Usher has revealed the artwork and tracklist for his upcoming album, Looking For Myself. I really hope that Usher returns to his Confessions phase for this one, but I honestly don’t know if he has it in him anymore. Looking For Myself drops on 06/12. Enjoy.

Usher releases the video for his Diplo-assisted song “Climax”. I was a bit confused as to what all happened in this video, but it was still pretty dope. I feel like I’m seeing a different Usher; he definitely doesn’t seem the same. Enjoy.
