The-Dream has decided to release his new album in two parts. The first part is his Crown EP, which is available now. The latter half is the Jewel EP and together they form his new album, Crown Jewel. The-Dream explained, "Crown is more modern R&B, and Jewel will be more what you might think of as my songwriter side, the songs I might have given to other artists before." The-Dream- "Fruition" x "That's My Sh*t (feat. T.I.)"

The-Dream is back. He is planning on releasing a new album this year and he has liberated two tracks from the project. The T.I.-assisted track, "That's My Sh*t," isn't out of the ordinary for The-Dream. It's a typical song he'd use as a radio single. But, there's something different about the other song, "Fruition." Stylistically, it sounds like a love song that an artist like Kem orJoe would have released in the '90s. There's just something so traditional about how simplistic and smooth the song was. Give me an album full of songs like that, please. Enjoy.

The-Dream just released a pretty amazing song. It’s called “Black” and I’ve gotta say I’ve never seen him make a song of this magnitude. He delivers the song over visuals of famous black leaders from the past and present interpolated with visuals of Vladimir Putin, Donald Sterling, and more. I think this is a great song by The-Dream. It has a nice message. Enjoy.

"High Art"- The-Dream (feat. Jay-Z)

The-Dream is preparing to release his latest studio album, IV Play, on May 28th. He has revealed his latest single, “High Art,” which features a verse from Jay-Z. I thought it was an alright song. Both The-Dream and Hova did a decent job. I liked the ending of the track more than anything. It seemed the most creative around that point. I still think the album will be worth checking out so stay tuned. Enjoy.
