Kanye West- "Champions (feat. Quavo, Travi$ Scott, 2 Chainz, Desiigner, Gucci Mane, Big Sean & Yo Gotti)

Kanye West recently released the first single from the (upcoming?) G.O.O.D. Music compilation album, Cruel Winter. The song, "Champions," features West himself along with Quavo, Travi$ Scott, 2 Chainz, Desiigner, Gucci Mane, Big Sean, and Yo Gotti. The CDQ version is now available on Apple Music and you can check out the song above.

Pusha T Is The New President of G.O.O.D. Music

Pusha T has announced that Kanye West asked him to be the new president of G.O.O.D. Music. I think this is great news as Pusha T could definitely help other artists on the roster push their albums out—artists like CyHi the Prynce or Kacy Hill. Seeing as how Kanye hasn't been a perfect label-head, he could use the help. Check out Pusha T's interview with Billboard here.

A big congratulations are in order. Just got word that you will be the president of G.O.O.D. Music. How was the offer presented you?

Actually, I was flying home and I had just got into my car at the airport. ‘Ye had called me and he was like, “Tell me something. What do you think about being the president of G.O.O.D. Music?” And I was like, “Well, what are the things that you’re looking for?” And he was basically just like, to manicure the label, make it profitable and be very business-oriented about it going forward in a manicured type of way.

Should we still keep our hopes up for a Cruel Summer 2 LP or some type of G.O.O.D. Music compilation in the near future?

I have that on my mood board. [Laughs.] I definitely have that on my mood board. I’ve had different conversations with the artists. Me and the rest of the artists on G.O.O.D. are really a phone call away and we’re really dialed into the music aspect of it as well. It’s not a hard process and it’s gonna be cool to collaborate with my peers and then come to ‘Ye as an executive producer and be like, “Look at this fresh ass shit we got here.” I think we’ll be getting the best out of him, executive producing projects that come from the label from here on out because he gets to really hone in as a producer. I’ll take care of all the logistics, the rallying of the troops, and so on and so forth. He don’t gotta be producer, A&R, rapper and everything. We’re all here to help and facilitate. I’m definitely stepping up for the job.

CyHi The Prynce Is Not Happy At G.O.O.D. Music...

So...CyHi The Prynce has been signed to Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music label for years now and his album has yet to be released. CyHi is not happy about it. He has released a track called "Elephant In The Room" where he fires major shots at Kanye and G.O.O.D. for not caring about his career and helping it progress. Now, I definitely think CyHi has a point. Kanye has not been the best at promoting ALL of his G.O.O.D. artists, BUT, this seems like a poor way for CyHi to address this situation. It'll be interesting to see where things go from here. Check out the track above.

CyHi The Prynce- "Credit 'I' Deserve"

G.O.O.D. Music's CyHi The Prynce has delivered a new song called "Credit 'I' Deserve." CyHi has always been a rapper whose majorly slept on. No matter how long he's been around, he hasn't really broken out yet. Something is missing from his career and whether that something is more attention from 'Ye is yet to be determined. Enjoy his lyrical track above. Enjoy.

Teyana Taylor- VII (Tracklist)

Teyana Taylor's debut album, VII, is set to drop on November 4th and I think she has a chance to really stay relevant in this game. She has a wonderful voice and she's been doing a great job at promoting the album. Her song, "Maybe," has been on the radio for months now. I'm rooting for her and not just because she's a G.O.O.D. Music artist haha. Check out the tracklist for VII below. Enjoy.

2. “Just Different”
3. “Request”
4. “Do Not Disturb” (feat. Chris Brown)

6. “It Could Just Be Love Interlude”
7. “Put Your Love On”

Big Sean- "4th Quarter" x "I Don't F**k With You (feat. E-40)" x "Jit/Juke" x "Paradise"

Big Sean dropped off 4 new tracks last week and they are solid. Lyrically, it seems like he chose to take the ignorant route haha but the production is the real winner of these releases. DJ Mustard and 'Ye produced the "I Don't F**k With You" track and "Ye's beat sounds so much better than Mustard's. Also, Nate Fox, Da Interns, L&F, and MikeWillMadeIt delivered some dope beats for the last two tracks. I hope this is a sign that he's dropping an album soon because I could use some production (no pun intended) from the G.O.O.D. Music camp. Enjoy.

Ryan McDermott is the newest signee to Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music label and above is a sample of his music. The track is called “OXYGEN” and features Arkitekt. It’s a nice track and video and I’d bet we’re gonna see this guy on a ‘Ye album very soon. He’s got a soulful vibe that fits perfectly with the label’s sound. Until then, Ryan’s project, Ryan Vs. The Sandman: The Tale Of The Sleepwalkers drops on February 25th. Enjoy.
