Last year, I posted "10 R&B Songs You Need To Have In Your Valentine's Day Playlist." Well this year, with the help of the Windy City Blogger Collective, I have 20 more songs for you to add to that list! I asked the members of the WCBC, "If you were making a date night playlist, what songs would you absolutely have to add?" They delivered big time! Check out the songs below and I have also included a Spotify and Apple Music playlist of all the songs below. Happy Valentine's Day!

Eminem Draws A Picture of Tupac For Afeni Shakur

Eminem is a lot more talented than I thought. In 2008, Eminem drew a picture of Tupac and wrote a letter to Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur. This was published in a memoir named Tupac Remembered and it's pretty amazing. The picture is great and he drew it all in pen. Not to mention, his handwriting is pretty flawless. Check it out above.

This Map Lists Every State's Favorite Artist

Music Machinery created the map above to illustrate each state's favorite artist. They used streaming data from The Echo Nest to determine which artist dominated each state based on streams. Jay Z dominated most of the East while Macklemore controls the Northwest and Drake surprisingly dominates the Southern states. What do you think? Are they right? Enjoy.

Shady CXVPHER (Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf & Eminem)

Eminem and his Shady Records label are releasing their Shady XV album on November 24th. it is a double-disc album that will feature greatest hits on one disc and new material on the other. In promotion for the album, Eminem, Yelawolf, and Slaughterhouse (Joell Ortiz, Crooked I, Royce Da 5'9", and Joe Budden) decided to bless us with a cypher. They each went a cappella, spitting verses in areas located in their respective cities.

My ranking: Eminem > Joell Ortiz > Crooked I > Royce Da 5'9" > Yelawolf > Joe Budden

Joe Budden seemed to "wax melancholic" for his verse and the act he was playing of rapping his verse only to fulfill an obligation didn't really seem like an act after a while. He seems to be going through it and his verse didn't really look like he was trying. The other standouts for me were Joell Ortiz and Eminem. It's never been a secret how lyrical the members of Slaughterhouse are, but I think Ortiz really outclassed his group members. His intricate wordplay and aggressive delivery really stood out.

Now I think it is safe to say that Eminem is the best technical rapper out there. The way he approaches verses is methodical and calculated. He SLAYED his verse. The dude is just unreal; he could probably outrap anyone alive. However, I do think his comments about the Ray Rice situation were in very poor taste. There are some things you just don't say, but I guess Eminem has never stayed away from those things. Other than that, he continues to show that he's still got it. Enjoy.

"The Monster (feat. Rihanna)"- Eminem

Eminem has revealed the next single from his upcoming album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2. The Rihanna-assisted track, “The Monster,” is very similar to their last collaborations, “Love The Way You Lie” and “Love The Way You Lie (Part II).” Rihanna handles the hook while Eminem raps about the monster inside him. Good choice for a radio single. Enjoy.

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (Tracklist)

Below is the tracklist for Eminem’s upcoming album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2. Eminem keeps it simple with this one when it comes to features. There is only one rap feature, from Kendrick Lamar, and three other features from Skylar Grey, Rihanna, and Nate Ruess, the lead singer from Fun. I really can’t wait to see where he takes this album. it drops November 5th. Enjoy.

1. Bad Guy
2. Parking Lot (Skit)
3. Rhyme Or Reason
4. So Much Better
5. Survival
6. Legacy
7. Asshole Ft. Skylar Grey
8. Berzerk
9. Rap God
10. Brainless
11. Stronger Than I Was
12. The Monster Ft. Rihanna

Eminem is set to release the sequel to his classic album, The Marshall Mathers LP , on November 5th. The Marshall Mathers LP 2 , like its predecessor, features Eminem’s childhood home in Detroit. It has changed with the times, as you can see above. This artwork alone makes me believe that the sequel will be something wonderful regardless of the “Berzerk” single. Enjoy.

I don’t know how I feel about this new Eminem single. If I have to lean one way or the other, I’m leaning against it. But, he just released the music video for the “Berzerk” track and I like it. It fits the song perfectly. Maybe the song will grow on me. It’s a cool video, though, that boasts cameos from Slaughterhouse, Kendrick Lamar, and Rick Rubin. Marshall Mathers LP 2 drops on November 5th. Enjoy.

Rihanna’s seventh studio album, Unapologetic, hits stores on November 19th. She has revealed her collaboration with Eminem and it’s called “Numb”. I think it’s a pretty decent track. I respect the Kanye sample, Ri’s vocals are ok, and Eminem was Eminem. His verse was a little weird with all the sound effects and shorter than I would have liked, but it was still tight. Enjoy.

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's 2012 Coachella Set

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg put on one of the best Coachella performances I’ve ever seen last night. They brought out artists like Eminem, Warren G, 50 Cent, and more. And I know you heard about it, but the highlight of the night was a performing hologram of the legendary Tupac Shakur.
