So I have recently acquired a jailbroken iPhone for T-Mobile from my friend who has the technology to do so. My previous phone was a T-Mobile MyTouch 3G. Go Android! Now I decided to switch to Team iPhone because let’s be honest, Apple is currently owning the smartphone industry. I wanted to see how much better, if any, the iPhone was than Android. Now I haven’t really had the chance to view it because I’ve run into so many problems. So far, I wasn’t able to send or receive texts because the settings weren’t in the phone….Problem solved. Downloaded a source and entered the settings. Now here comes the real trouble. I was having a conversation on my phone outside and since I sweat a lot, the phone got real sweaty and sweat entered the phone through the dock port. This caused the phone not to register when I hit the home button, and also formed a sweat stain inside the phone underneath the screen around the edges. ALSO, it causes the phone to charge when i hook it up, but not sync. Now MYTH BUSTED! lol putting a water damaged phone in a bag of rice really does work. It soaks up all the moisture and allows the phone to work again. So now the home button works, and parts of the stain disappeared. But I still can’t sync. So I am hoping that my Mac/Apple expert of a roommate can fix these problems so I can truly explore Team iPhone. -HB
